The next night (Saturday) we went to Karyn's 40th birthday party.  It was held about a mile from her house on a beautiful piece of property that belongs to a friend of hers. 

They had games, a live band and lots of food...Gator got to visit with some of his old friends and some of Karyn and Kevin's mom's family.

We had a great time but we couldn't stay out very long because the night air was really getting to Gator and he started to cough so we left.

Our other grandson, Justin, was there but he's a busy guy so we didn't see much of him.  I had to use last years pic of him!

Our good friend Jill sent me an e-mail yesterday, at the end it read;
Life isn't about waiting out the storm...it's about learning to dance in the rain!
Gator say's "our dance card is full!!" LOL
