Dan Whyms and Rock Island Line put on an awesome show for us at Big Tony's in Centralia on May 1rst. It was a great turnout and they made a bunch of money for us. Gator made it through the whole night! Alot of our friends were there....even though there were so many that couldn't because of the very short notice! What an awesome night....The band did the show for free and I think everyone there were amazed by their talent. As soon as the band started playing everyone stopped talking and all eyes were on the band. When Dan came on stage and started singing you could see cell phones come out all over the bar....people were calling friends telling them "you're not gonna believe this!" They were also video taping and taking pics. These guys put on such a great show, we can't thank them enough for doing this for us! Our friend Patti's mom (Bonnie) went to see them at the Emerald Queen Casino last month and so when she came to the show on Saturday I promised her a hug from the big guy himself and he very happily obliged. She can't see very well, I believe she is legally blind so when he hugged her she didn't realize who it was until he said "how you doin' darlin' " It was sweet! She just said "oooooohhhhhhh! Oooooooohhhh!" and then told him she's been telling her kids for years that they can't keep up with her" She's so funny! Love you mama....
Today is Monday, May 3rd and we are heading for Seattle. Robby, my son is going to stay here at the house while we're gone. Gator is having his surgery in the morning......I'll post again when we get home.
