We had a visit from our friends from Oregon today, on New Years Eve day..  Billy Ray and his wife Vikkie (she couldn't come this trip) gave us $400 and Roy and his wife Kelley (she also couldn't come!) gave us $30! We can now pay off our propane bill , get more propane, and have gas money for the Seattle trip! I tell ya, there are angels out there! They could only stay for a couple of hours but it was a lot of fun ...what sweethearts!

It's been a while since I posted. Gator went in to the oncologist on Dec. 29th. He's been pretty depressed lately (for about a month) sitting on the couch and sleeping alot. The oncologist said it's hard to tell if the chemo is getting too toxic for Gator, or the whole brain radiation is affecting him, or if depression is getting to him, or if it's the cancer. Gator will be getting one more chemo this coming monday and then we're going to wait a month or so and try to build him some strength up and then do a CT scan and see where we're at. The last word we got was that the largest leision in his lung grew a little bit and the rest of the cancer shrunk a little. He has too many leisions in his brain for them to do gamma knife again so no more MRI's. The doctor said it's better not to know if there is anything growing in the brain and hope the whole brain radiation got what was there, then to check and see something in there and watch it grow knowing there's nothing more we can do. So it's just a sick waiting game.
