Break from Chemo

Gator got his last chemo treatment on Jan. 25th.  They would have given him up to 6 treatments of this chemo before taking a break ( he got 6 the first time and 5 this time) but he's just feeling too run down.  On Feb. 1rst we got the results of the CT scan.  The cancer shrunk up a little bit more but not enough for Gator to get another treatment feeling as exhausted as he does.  The Dr. gave him a walker with a seat so that he can get out and get some excersise and start building his strength back up. He wants him to start taking his vitamins and eating, exercising and doing more FUN things (Dr.'s orders!  LOL)  and then come back and talk to him in 6wks.  If there are no new symptoms in 6wks we'll go back in another 6wks and get another CT scan to see what the cancer is doing.  If it has grown, he will probably start the same chemo he just got done with....if Gator wants to.  It's all up to him and how he feels.  He's really happy to be off the chemo for awhile and really looking forward to building up some strength!  We got the Beemer parked in our friend Dan and Trudy's garage here in Oakville now so we can slowly start getting her cleaned up and maybe back on the road.  I'll be painting portraits of people on their bikes to try to cover some of the costs so if you know anyone that would like one they're $50 each....  Love to all
